I know there is a lot of criticism regarding the subject and many parents don’t think that their children should “waste their time” while going on a Gap Year. But there are a couple of important things that students can learn while going on gap year projects.

First of all students mature while being away from their family and having to cope with everything on their own. They get trusted with new stuff and learn to make decisions. Furthermore you meet a lot of new people, learn to communicate with strangers and the self-confidence of a student grows while taking a gap year travel.

Moreover studies have shown that students who went on a gap year are more likely to graduate and they are more excited about learning. When your life only exists of studying, you will get bored. Taking a gap year can be good for students to clear their minds, make up what they want to study and are ready to throw themselves into their studies.

So if I were you, I would think about doing this adventure. A gap year program can really change your life in a positive way…

Recently, there are a lot of parents facing dilemma how to persuade their children to go on college after graduating high school. Because some of these students after graduating high school are not ready yet in pursuing college. Most of their reasons are they are not ready to commit on the many challenging life in college. While some of these students said that they still wanted to explore some interesting things before they will spend the rest of their years in university.

In the western countries, some of the prestigious and famous universities abroad recommended high school graduating students to take a gap year program. This program will help students to broaden their perspectives in life, giving them the idea what course to take in college. Parents may find it risky and dangerous, perhaps yes. But this program insures that your kids will be at the right hands. These programs will never be established if this would not equip with proper rules and regulations that the students would follow before entering gap year.

Why would this program somehow risky? This is because; students will be spread in various countries away from their own home, away from their parents and love ones. Parents would feel insecure because they could not imagine their kids being away from them which they could not watch-over in their daily routine. Parents will surely worry since their kids will be exposed in different cultures, living with foster parents. However, parents should remember that sending their kids who are not ready is like wasting your money. Why? Because most of these children could not surpass college since their mind occupied a lot of things which they could not accommodate if they try to pursue college. Remember that indulging in the gap year program is letting your kids learning something out of it. In fact, the survey tells that there are numerous students who became mature and responsible after taking the program. On the other hand, for parents if you were still in doubt regarding the program letting your kids get gap year travel insurance is advice.

And how the continent has blossomed into a Safari destination; and shows them the culture and civilizations that has remained almost intact and unspoiled my modern influences. Whatever your career choice Africa is just a perfect place to do gap year.

North Pole is the place to seek isolation, silence and reflective travel. Indeed it is the Kingdom of Snow. North Pole is now accessible now that before with only 12 hours away from Moscow.
