Philippines is designated as one the most visited countries all over the world. It is because the country is fortunate of having great panoramic sceneries and friendly locales. The country aside from its captivating and lush ecological environment owns bustling cities also.

However, most areas of the country are never been fortunate when it comes to education and development. This is because Philippines have a wide range of poor population when being compared to the rich. Gap year program in the Philippines is never been common; there are various volunteers from the different countries who flock in the Philippines to help those less fortunate Filipino people.

Although Philippines are widely known speaking English people, there are still Filipino people who are less fortunate of speaking English. Especially those people living in the mountainous part of the Philippines. Most of the volunteers here are designated mostly in the rural elementary school since most of the children here are less fortunate of speaking the English language. The volunteers here will definitely experience the rural lifestyle of the people; they will be observing the community and the culture of the people itself.

The international volunteers here are considered as the role models from both the adults and teenagers. Since most of the teachers here in the rural areas of the Philippines only have limited time teaching the Filipino children because of their location. The volunteers aim was to really help teach these children with regards to education especially teaching them how to speak the universal language which is English.
