Colorful Gap Year in Vietnam

I was really rooting for a destination so colorful that it can best the rainbow! That statement raises many eyebrows from my teachers to some of my colleagues. But believe me I found it in Vietnam. It was indeed a great last minute gap years.
Vietnam is a country in South East Asia. They say it is a must-visit country for travelers and I made it my ultimate gap year destination. I intend to visit the countries twice for a more thorough visit and not for a gap year jobs abroad. My first visit lasted for four weeks and the second lasted for around five weeks.
You may want to visit the country starting from Hanoi then you can jump from one tourist destination to another going to the south part of Vietnam. Though, my gap year actually involves a starting point from Saigon (which is actually an inspiration from a stage play starred by Lea Salonga- a Filipino) then I went upwards until I reached Hanoi. Gap year opportunities in Vietnam may include a visit to its many colorful destinations.

Vietnam cemeteries are really colorful. The picture above is actually a cemetery.

Hanoi is one city that interests me. At first, I see no relationship of every color I see but on the second visit I stayed for more than a week. The Old District, Sapa and Ha Long Bay is a good start of knowing the country.

Perfume Pagoda is composed of a one day tour. One of the popular pagoda in Hanoi.

Hue can be visited within two days and is the ancient capital of the country. Color is one theme in this place.
I only knew Vietnam in history books and movies but these materials hid the real beauty of the country. Only in visiting Vietnam will you appreciate the country.
