Why expose your kids to Gap Year before College?

Because some of these students after graduating high school are not ready yet in pursuing college. Most of their reasons are they are not ready to commit on the many challenging life in college. While some of these students said that they still wanted to explore some interesting things before they will spend the rest of their years in university.
In the western countries, some of the prestigious and famous universities abroad recommended high school graduating students to take a gap year program. This program will help students to broaden their perspectives in life, giving them the idea what course to take in college. Parents may find it risky and dangerous, perhaps yes. But this program insures that your kids will be at the right hands. These programs will never be established if this would not equip with proper rules and regulations that the students would follow before entering gap year.
Why would this program somehow risky? This is because; students will be spread in various countries away from their own home, away from their parents and love ones. Parents would feel insecure because they could not imagine their kids being away from them which they could not watch-over in their daily routine. Parents will surely worry since their kids will be exposed in different cultures, living with foster parents. However, parents should remember that sending their kids who are not ready is like wasting your money. Why? Because most of these children could not surpass college since their mind occupied a lot of things which they could not accommodate if they try to pursue college. Remember that indulging in the gap year program is letting your kids learning something out of it. In fact, the survey tells that there are numerous students who became mature and responsible after taking the program. On the other hand, for parents if you were still in doubt regarding the program letting your kids get gap year travel insurance is advice.
