Whether it is seasonal work or a full GAP year, there is always job available that suits you. The massive outdoor activity section creates a lot of GAP year job offers. A sports instructor is a very common job offer. But not the regular ones you will find in other destinations. A popular job is that you can train to become a skiing or snowboarding instructor in a month and during the high season you will be on your skies teaching other people how to do it. The popular skiing areas in Canada provide another GAP year job. While the parents are skiing, someone needs to take care of their children. If you like animals Canada is a great country to volunteer. With a town of your choice as a base you will monitor mammals in Canada.  Another interesting GAP job is volunteering on one of Canada’s research missions. Along the coastlines Canada started several projects for rehabilitating people with disabilities through the sport of Sailing by providing a social environment and communication, in a safe setting. It is possible to work on one of the Sailing boats as a volunteer. You will learn the basics of sailing while gaining experience guiding the disabled.
